Order material by the metre, according to the reference, roll width and quantities available. For a finished envelope, projection surface or panel, the workshop can assess fabrication separately. Describe which work you need.
Ask for widths, colours, minimum quantities, availability, prices and the relevant colour charts or technical documents. Fire documentation must match the selected reference and the venue’s requirements; no single classification applies to every material or country.

Clear PVC
PVC · published reference: 300 μm
Transparency for display, protective coverings and light-transmitting envelopes. The workshop selects the reference for the use, joining method and installation.
Coloured clear PVC
PVC · published reference: 300 μm
Transparent colour, from light or vivid tones to smoked and pastel effects according to the reference. Suitable references are studied for scenery and volumes that play with light.
Lackfolie
Glossy PVC · published reference: 180 μm
A glossy surface and strong colour for decorative objects, inflatable furniture and sculptural forms. Ask for the current colour chart and confirm the chosen reference.
Ice Frost
TPU · published reference: 350 μm
A frosted appearance with flexibility for visual or technical applications. Mechanical demands, finish and frequency of use determine whether this TPU reference suits the design.
Projection and screen materials
PVC · thickness according to reference
White, rear-projection, grey and blackout materials serve different image and light-control requirements. Choose with the projection arrangement, ambient light, throw distance and finished format. White diffusing PVC for an illuminated volume needs its own assessment.
Special finishes
Composition and thickness according to reference
Iridescent, satin, mirror and textured flexible materials offer different reflections and surface effects. Reference selection and compatibility with welding, tensioning or inflation are studied with the workshop.
The quoted thicknesses identify the references published in our French catalogue. They are not a specification for every finished product or every material in the same family.
Choose from the use, then the material
Start with the visual effect: clear, tinted, light-diffusing, glossy, printed or opaque. Then describe the shape, duration, indoor or outdoor setting and how often it will be installed, packed and reused.
Similar-looking films can behave differently when welded, inflated, tensioned or handled. The workshop considers thickness, weldability, geometry, pressure, temperature, mechanical stress and the operating cycle together. A reference suitable for a flat curtain is not automatically suitable for an inflated volume.
- For visibility: consider clear PVC and the position of seams, openings and reflections.
- For glossy colour: consider Lackfolie with the intended shape and assembly.
- For flexible technical or cushion applications: discuss the appropriate PVC or TPU reference and its mechanical demands.
- For projection: specify front or rear projection, ambient light, throw and screen dimensions.
- For venue requirements: supply the written fire-documentation requirements before the reference is chosen.
