The brief and the finished object
JC Keller fabricated the custom inflatable hourglass seen in the Air France lounge campaign. Set horizontally beneath the reclining figure, its transparent volumes and narrow centre make the familiar shape readable within the photograph.
From studio set to campaign image
The behind-the-scenes photograph shows the hourglass on its support, surrounded by the studio lighting. The finished image sets the red-orange colour and reflections against a blue background. Together, the two views show the object’s place in the composition.
